Linux Users’ Group of Davis - For people in the Sacramento Region who share an interest in the Linux® operating system.
MacNexus - A volunteer-based membership organization for people who enjoy using Macintosh computes and Apple technologies [ipad, ipod, etc]. The monthly meeting is held at the Sacramento Association of Realtors (SAR) building at 2003 Howe Ave in Sacramento, on the third Tuesday of each month from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Workshops are held on the first Saturday of each month, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the St. Marks United Methodist Church, 2391 St. Marks Way, Sacramento. Doors open about 8:30 am.
Sacramento PC Users Group - Founded in July 1982, the SPCUG is one of the largest PC user groups on the United States west coast. A beginners Q&A immediately precedes the monthly meetings. The monthly meeting is held at he Sacramento Association of Realtors (SAR) building at 2003 Howe Ave in Sacramento, on the third Wednesday of each month.
- Orangevale/Folsom Computer Group - primarily serves the Northeastern part of Sacramento County including the communities of Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, Orangevale and Folsom.

KeePass Password Safe is a free, open source, light-weight and easy-to-use password manager for Windows. You can store your passwords in a highly-encrypted database, which is locked with one master password or key file.
Microsoft Snipping Tool - This is a great tool for snipping a part of a page. The snipped item can then be used in a presentation, insertion into a word document, or whatever. Click on the Windows “Start” button and then type “Snip...” in the search box. The Snipping Tool will show up near the top of the search results.
